How do you see the world?
We often did good things helping people and expect to get help in return when we need it. In reality, isn’t like that. But it’s not everything so dark.
Most of the time when we need help or support appears someone we didn’t expect or we don’t know, comes to help us.
What Is Kindness
Kindness is a superpower. Oxford dictionary defines it as the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate.
kind·ness
/ˈkīn(d)nəs/
noun
Kindness is free and can make you feel better, also a person with whom you are kind will feel special. Small things like helping someone cross the street, opening the door to a stranger, holding an elevator for your neighbour, feeding stray dogs and cats, offering to babysit for a friend and so on.
Simple and small things are making life and the world a happier place for everyone.
Kindness is a very powerful act that can boost feelings of confidence, being in control, happiness and optimism. Acts of kindness may also encourage others to repeat the good deeds they’ve experienced themselves.
Some Random Acts Of Kindness
One of the great mottos in life is to be kind. Do you think, what you give or put out you get back?
When I was a kid, my grandma taught me to treat people the same as I want to be treated. That was the main rule in our house. Today I pass that by to my kid.
Here are some random acts of kindness that you can do today:
- Spend time with elders
- Send flowers to a friend
- Donate used toys
- Treat the less fortunate person to lunch
- Offer to pick up some groceries for your elderly neighbour
- Walk your friend’s dog
- Send someone a handwritten note
- Compliment someone on their work
- Call a friend that you haven’t spoken to for a while
- Donate Christmas gifts to an orphanage
- Visit or send a letter to your grandparents
- Donate books to the nearest school
- Feed a stray
- Make someone happy today
- Make someone laugh
By doing acts of kindness, we contribute to a more positive community. We can experience positive mental and physical changes by lowering stress levels and increasing the body’s production of feel-good hormones such as dopamine, oxytocin and serotonin.
Kindness Quotes
Here I will name some of my favorite quotes:

Make People Happy
We are already in the holiday season. In a few days is Christmas and then New Year. Some of you will spend time with your families and friends, and some of us will have that opportunity next time.
During my childhood time, I spent a lot of time with my whole family. We have had Sunday lunch every day of the week. My grandma was cooking for all of us and we had 3-course meals every day. There was always some soup, a main meal and dessert. Christmas time was not so special or different from everyday life except for the Christmas tree.
In our house, we have had guests most of the time and we were celebrating life nonstop whenever it’s possible. My granny was an amazing woman, always happy to host anyone who come to our house. She was preparing great food and people loved to come especially because of her cuisine.
She lived to make us happy with her small gifts every day. Certain family friends are coming specially to eat some delicious dishes she prepared only because of them. She was an example that doing kind and generous things for others to make them feel good and happy is an amazing thing.
People adored her and even nowadays are talking about her, her food and her generosity. She liked to cook. She had a passion to do that every single day with love and dedication.
When you have a passion for the things you do, it will bring you far, a lot further than you even can imagine.
Changing Your Reality
Many of us wanted to change a lot of things in our life, but we didn’t know where to start. The possible and easiest way is to start where you are, use what you have and do what you can. This is the advice of the American tennis player Arthur Ashe.
Without complication and procrastination just start. This advice will help you and motivate you to cross everything off your to-do list. Having a plan for what you will do during the day is the first step. When that becomes your routine, definitely you start changing your life.
Make priorities, write them down and start doing them. Yes, I know, it is not as easy as it looks. Yes, it is! I was there and I did it, it means you can do it too.
Start with positive thoughts, be mindful of small changes and do good and kind acts for your environment and society. When you do it for yourself and society, you will be rewarded with blessings and great energy.
Final Thoughts
The season of holidays already starts. This is maybe one of the cosiest and dearest family times in the whole year. If you have the opportunity to be together with your family and friends don’t forget to enjoy yourself and tell them how much you love them and miss them.
Use every moment to tell your parents and grans (if you still have them, lucky you!) how much you appreciate and love them. Recharge yourself and fill the batteries for new opportunities that appear to you in New Year.

Happy Holiday Season to all of you!
